Bilal earned a degree in Interior Design from one of the numerous for-profit Art universities of the mid 2000's.
Amidst the peak of the Great Recession and subsequent financial crises, Bilal embarked on a journey to refine his knowledge and sales acumen at several of New York City's premier Art, Antique, and Oriental Carpet galleries.
While traversing time zones in search of resources for discerning architects, interior designers and private collectors, Bilal founded Rococo Rugs and Hopla.
Through Rococo Rugs, he persists in exploring and refining handmade custom carpet manufacturing, while Hopla caters to a diverse range of artistic disciplines.
In his leisure time, Bilal can often be found feeding pigeons on his rooftop in Jersey City, New Jersey.
